So I learn that I’m building a new computer, it’s going to have glowing lights and some tape. It’ll be Mint. Which means that I can only update the story of that long apvpbpbpvpvp on sundays. Makes sense to me guys.
Well Sunday was a total write off for me, so really nothing got done. Just an attempt at a design for a site that was terrible. Chapter 1 page 2 never happened, again I blame Steve.
But how about we all cheer up with some Chevy Chase!
I think I just got my 18th wind to get this site up and going again! Major things is going to start rolling. Like a LAYOUT CHANGE! Still going to be tables/css because I never took the time to learn css positioning. Laconic doesn’t know about this because he’s been at a bar this whole time picking up women and I’m pretty sure he’s a father of 40 kids.
But what else is coming? Well a MEGATON story that involves… ALIENS, who want to fight… get this… PREDATORS! And 30 maybe 200 more other people. As I mention before, falconsox is going to have some gaming going on. That day… is TODAY! RIGHT HERE FOLKS! (Now on Google!). As you’ll see, there is no voices… only voices. The other guy I was playing with didn’t have a mic, and listening to me for 7 minutes certainly isn’t that much fun. I need someone to play off of, I’m no Dane Cook folks. Oh well, atleast you get to listen to Daft Punk and The Pillows.

Now let’s get to the video game videos. First off is GMOD showing off some hilarious stuff. When I tried GMOD… things weren’t that good. Lastly is a musical video for Saint’s Row. It’s singing about all the wonder glitches in the game. It’s just too beautiful.
Just as the title suggest, my free time has been taken up by Final Fantasy 12 and Gears of War. So I haven’t really been able to find anything funny (besides Britney Spears dumping K-Fed over a text message). I will remind you that the 14th episode of that Yu-gi-oh dub is out on Youtube.
Now I wasn’t hyped for FFXII at all, frankly I skipped every preview on it. But being a Final Fantasy, I decided to give it a try and hoping that it was way better than FFX. I was not disappointed. The combat system is so much nicer, even though it’s basically the same. Only voice I can’t stand is Vaans, but everyone else it’s pretty good. I’m only about 10+ hours in, and fighting battles with non-bosses have been this fun!
I haven’t spent much time with Gears yet, but I do know I like to die a lot! I have yet to try the online co-op since Laconic continues to say he has lots of “work” to do. I think he just goes to the park and sits on a bench all day. Although that does sound pretty good.
Well I guess I should head out onto the web and find some crazy links!
God that game is gonna kick so much ass, online and offline. The commercial is even better in HD on my new 21″ HD widescreen monitor! It better come with a 3 month Xbox Live Gold card like Madden did at Futureshop.
Also in other Games news, Dark Messiah ends up with a 6.7 over at Gamespot. I really didn’t think that game would get below an 8 from the demo, but I do see how the game has tech problems as the demo didn’t run so well in certain places. It’s no Half-Life 2 that’s for sure!

Tim Fort’s kinetic art is pretty impressive, in a whimsically obsessive fashion beloved to geeks and nerds of all subgenuses. It is easy to cry “yet another dominoes video” until you get a few minutes in so hold your horses until then! There are plenty more videos you can get to through Tim’s site.
Some weeks are just a little weird… and weird is what this week has for us. There’s no rhyme or reason to what will grab my attention when I’m zipping around the net, but this week is especially odd.
First off… when FISH ATTACK! Rawr! Watching that poor guy just get smacked in the head by fish is still funny minutes into this clip.
Crazy funk bass and guitar! Nuff said. Apparently this guy is “the Michael Jordan of Bass.” I am learning how to suck at guitar so things like this are enthralling. How in the heck! *edit* This is Victor Wooten on Bass, who apparently plays for Bela Fleck and is the man behind the awesome track “Sinister Minister.” Sweet.

Apparently the part of Dilbert Creator Scott Adams’ brain that handles normal speech just detached one day. After training himself to speak in non-traditional fashion, he suddenly regained his powers of speech. If you’ve never seen any of the totally insane stuff that can happen to your brain, check it out. Plus it’s double-plus happy. *edit* kottke has more about a previous problem Adams had with drawing.
Last but not least, this milk spitting challenge I saw over at tvinjapan is hilarious. You would have to be stone cold to not spit milk in somebody’s face doing this. Plus it’s slightly naughty. Use water for the Rated G version.
Ugh. Almost dodged the office plague, but now it’s rocking me like a hurricane. Or perhaps a landslide. Iggy Pop is riding the landslide, and he’s backed by a band of gradeschoolers playing death metal. While wearing Pokemon shirts. With enough cold medicine, anything is possible.
Still, even in my final death throes, the primal comic force of people being unexpectantly hit by things can still tear a anguished laugh from my seared and wasted lungs. Especially when it’s involving dolls, or princesses. On TV. In Japan. Courtesy of the awesome tvinjapan.com ftw.
